Welcome to Cries in Vain! This is a somewhat realistic fantasy wolf roleplay! The wolves come in a variety of species, some are still being discovered. Packs have begun to form based on these types, and are becoming more and more common. The wolves have spread their legends of the creator, Bane. Prophecy has started to come true, and now it remains up to these wolves of what destiny they will take.
Year Two
The growing season has just taken a sharp turn into blistering heat. The temperatures are going crazy high, and water is beginning to dry up in the river beds. The rains have stopped falling for reasons unknown to the wolves. The prey around is growing more and more scarce due to the high amounts of heat, and the lack of rain causing the vegetation food source to fail. The arrival of a new pack seems to have cursed the lands. Disasters: No Rain. Breeding: No. Birthing: No.

The arrival of the new pack, Carnivax, is causing some distress amongst the wolves. No one knows where they cam from, or what they plan to do here in the lands of Vain. They aren't the only race that has just arrived... Another pack has formed, but they are far different then the Carnivax.

Im so sorry... My patience with this site is breaking. Its had a good active run. I am very sorry to the few active and loyal members that have done your best to help me, and kept the site alive. This site will be put under MM soon, but I will give people time to get their logs and images and all that. If you would like to move, Sinny, and myself have worked on a new site that is still being done. It has some of the same things as this site, but a little more in depth. Terrains
Nighshade Woods A large piece of terrain, thickly covered in trees that never seem to change from the beautiful fall colors. Thick grass makes up the bedding of the grounds, wild flowers decorating every open speck of land they can find to grow in. The colors are different in the place the most would commonly see. Beautiful they are, but it is mostly an ordinary place, nothing really seems to special about it. Many wolves come around here if they don't have a pack yet, or if they want to hunt. The land is fed generously by a large river that borders it. The river is full of life, as well as the thick woods. Pups often come here to play and wonder out on their own a bit. Fights don't often occur here. For the most part the land remains a rather calm and peaceful place to come and wonder. Loners are more likely to come amongst the peace this land has to offer them.

Masic Valley A pleasant breeze is always felt in the terrain. Flowers are quite common to grow in a variety of sizes and colors, carpeting the fertile soil in a sea of beauty. The trees sings gentle songs, leaves rasping together in the wind, though there aren't very many of them in the open valley. Seasons are very gentle to this terrain. Its temperatures are rarely ever very hot, sheltered by so many high mountain peaks, its hard to get within the steep slopes and snowy altitudes. The land remains, for the most part, the same beautiful and serene place it always appears. It is virtually untouched in all its glory, showing few signs of any others. A cave enterance is the only way into the place, and even that is hidden within the dark forests that lurk on the outside. This is said to be the place where Cecstial was once harmed and forced by the dark Doverex, and thus in the lands mourning has overgrown with flowers and plant life to give its own blessing to the pure she wolf.

Haunted Willows Weep The land is secretive, everything is wrapped in silence. The air is cold and unmoving. The river itself seems still and made of glass, making no noise at all, its depths are lifeless of anything. The long weeping willow trees close around the area in a seclusion of blue and green haze. It seems a barren lot of ground, lifeless and worthless. The soil so dark and black, it holds nothing within it. Skeletons lay ravaged apart, strews over the hills. This once was where the first wolfen war happened, where it lays, the death of many followed it, and the battle long forgotten, it hides only those that wish to escape now, be careful if you wonder through these lands, for those in fear are most likely to strike out and become a vicious enemy of flesh and teeth. Though, invincible spirits can be heard calling out in moans of agony, cries of victory, and the sharp ear splitting cries of death still haunt in the wind's voice, carrying past memories to reawaken the dreams of the past, and those who died. The souls still are seen wondering, and even occasionally fighting only to disappear behind the trees, never to be seen again.

Packs
Loss Normal Wolves - Led by;; Pippin. - Population Count;; Two. Those that remain pure, the ones who were blessed to be given nothing but normal genetics reside here. They live in a land of perfection. Clear streams, rolling grass lands. It is a place of pure beauty. The lands are sheltered on one side by the same mountains that entrap Gulthra. The mountains are a place of wonder to many of the wolves, but some few have braved them. Snow caps are always around. Waterfalls and many various streams come down from the mountain tops, feeding the packland. Seasons impact the place hard though, winters can be tough for the unsheltered directions. This is said to be the first pack of the normal wolves, the one that the strongest daughter of Cecstial first started. Wisdom and knowledge is a common trait, and a peaceful side for the most part that they are.

Vallhaller Ability Wolves - Led by;; Sheol. - Population Count;; One. One of the strangest in the kind. Their minds have developed rapidly in their short existences. Manipulative power has brought them the control over a special gift, or talent. From controlling the weather to the simplest developments of life, they are unpredictable creatures. Far too wise and cunning for the regular wolf to outsmart. They are masters of their lands, learning and growing together. They are known more for the more recluse nature that they have, staying up high in their mountain forest hideaways. The place they reside in is mostly that of a vast water source. Woods that grow up thickly on the side of a mountain valley. It is there water that feeds every other pack's streams and rivers. There is little light that can filter through the thickness of the woods, making it a place of darkness and shadows. Fog too is often seen in this place, keeping the wolves hidden from the rest of the world. Gulthra is a very close neighbor to these lands.

Coven Prism Wolves - Led by;; Aztec. - Population Count;; Two. This is perhaps the strangest place to ever wonder. These are one of the more striking species around. There colors know no limits, and their markings and extra additions have no bounds. They stand out as oddly as there lands. A wide river crosses almost entirely around it, making it a somewhat difficult place to locate. More then that, the water changes colors right before the eyes of anyone who looks at it. Believed to be the effect of so many of the species thriving here. Flowers of every shape and color grow everywhere around trees that are entirely black and devoid of any color. Even the leave that grow large on the trees are the dark shades of black and gray. Prey is abundant as well in the lands, even so close to a pack. Color is a thriving element in the land, making it a natural wonder. Flashy and full of life, it is a place of mystery to see.

Athame Beast Wolves - Led by;; Toast. - Population Count;; Two. Strange and amazing creatures walk this place. Not entirely wolf, but more so then their other halves. These wolves are known for resembling other creatures in the world. Some that don't even exists near close to any animal known in the human world, or even in this part of it. They come in various shapes and colors, with strange appendages that only this other creature could have. The land they possess is just as different as they are. It is surrounded by high cliffs, with various caves and shelters naturally cut away and eroded to make safe shelters for the pack. Its lowest point in the deepest caves, water flows abundantly, waterfalls spill off the cliffs into the river from high above. This is the very edge of the mountainous terrain of the other packs. They are the farthest away from most others, but they are more equipped to physical challenge then most of the other wolves.

Gulthra Black Blood Wolves - Led by;; Exyphus. -Population Count;; Three. These lands were once holy and sacred to all wolves. This is the place of first birth, and first creation, where the god Bane first created Cecstial. It is also where the prophecy was fulfilled. Fateliny's betrayal to her entire kind and the murder of her in these very lands by the wolves she led has poisoned the land. Once thought to be the purest place and the most peaceful of ground has become nothing more then a home to the Black Bloods. It is a temple like structure, overgrown with tall trees and weeds. The stone is engraved with wolves and their prey. Rain falls here commonly, almost never stopping for days at a time. There isn't much food, and neither is their much peace any longer. Fog is a constant here, always keeping the place protected from the vision of too many other creatures. The eerie feelings is one that commands respect and honor to those that wonder into its misty depths.

• If your just a guest, then please, dont be afraid to ask questions that you have about the site! We would be glad to answer any and all questions that you may have! ^.^ Or you can just stay and chit chat with us all for awhile! No one minds.
• Don't spam, or clog up the cbox with random and pointless things. It gets on a lot of peoples last nerves very very quickly.
• Don't fight. Fix it and get over it. If its too bad, contact the admin [Tempest].
